Submitting A Claim
Sometimes things do not always go according to plan with shipments, and in the event that your freight gets damaged or lost in transit we try to make it as easy as possible for our customers to file a claim using our one-stop shop Connect Portal
When Can I Submit A Claim?
Claims may be filed when a shipment is either lost or damaged while in transit after being picked up by the carrier.
If the claim is being filed for damages, these damages must be marked on the Proof of Delivery.
What If Damage Is Not Marked On The Proof Of Delivery?
If damages were not listed on the signed proof of delivery, the claim must be filed within 5-business days of the day of delivery in order to be valid.
How-To File A Claim
Upon logging into your Connect account, head to the icon on the left toolbar that resembles a damaged box – this icon will pop up and promote “claims” which upon clicking will take you to your list of any previous outstanding or settled claims. In the top right corner there will be a prompt, “Submit A Claim” which will then allow you to enter all information regarding the shipment in the appropriate fields. Once completed, click on the “Submit Claim” tab at the bottom of the page and your claim has been successfully filed and will be worked on as soon as possible.
