Paul.jpg

Paul Grady | Principle

Paul Grady is the founder and President of TFWW – Grand Rapids, which is the operating company for the Parent company MBP Ventures, LLC.  He started his business in June 2008 (not the ideal time to start a business,) and made sure to develop a positive work environment. The company has thrived since the initial years of operation.

The majority of Paul’s professional experience has been gained in finance and administrative roles with companies in industries such as retail, wholesale, and manufacturing.  The last 16 years have been in the transportation industry. He enjoys all facets of his role as the owner, being involved in sales, customer service, and operations.

Paul’s hobbies are sports, sports, and more sports. He was involved in youth sports coaching both baseball and basketball. The last few years Paul has been a freshmen baseball coach, which he enjoys immensely.

All who know Paul understand he lives for his family. Hanging out with his wife and his 3 adult sons and their spouses are his ultimate joy and satisfaction.

Carolyn Grady

Director of Operations

Carolyn plays a key role with TFWW - GR.  She has been with the company for over 12 years and, as we've said before, is the Straw that Stirs the Drink.  She applies her knowledge of the business, its systems and its processes with an acute attention to detail to all matters large and small.  She demands the best from all of us each and every day.

With raising three boys, she enjoys watching sports and playing some sports, especially golf. Ones who know her, know she is up for a good competition. In her spare time, biking, yoga and puzzles are her interests as well as getting that hammer and drill out.

Most of all, the times she and Paul can spend with the boys, since they all live out of town, is her favorite. It's all about family time and memories to

last a lifetime.

Alex Dykema

Account Executive

Alex, a graduate of the prestigious Kalamazoo College, successfully started his career in the financial industry in Chicago. After the onset of COVID in 2020, he chose to return to Grand Rapids where he began working for TFWW – GR.  He is a very talented salesperson who has been committed to soaking up all there is to learn about our industry, our company, its systems and processes.  He is a good public speaker and has excellent computer skills which,  when combined with his education, new found knowledge of the transportation industry and calm demeanor have resulted in a gain of many new customers.

Alex has a true love of all sports.  In high school, he was a multi-sport athlete including basketball, football and Lacrosse.  His senior year he was named Male Athlete of the Class.  He continued to play basketball and Lacrosse in college.  When not immersed in finding solutions for our customers, he still spends a lot of time playing and watching sports and (of course!) playing video games!
